I will be exploring the trials and tribulations of the larger than life empire of sports apparel that is Nike. Around 2003-04 Nike became noticed for something other than its flashy sporting goods and it brought much controversy to the elite company. In more ways than one Nike forced employees to work more than 60 hours a week in sweatshop factories with limitations to water and other necessities we take for granted in our work places. I am interested to find what Nike said about bare minimums "that were provided" and how they tried to talk their way out of this issue. This has Marx along with class struggle written all over it!
